This foundation course for 8-12 people is suitable for digital interactive professionals who are aspiring to be Team Leaders or Project Managers. It is also suitable for existing Team leaders or Project Managers who have not had formal training.
What the course contains +/-
The course covers 3 modules and is an introduction to the principles of interactive media project management.
- Module 1 covers the basic principles of project management, including stakeholder management, making the business case, time, cost and quality and change management. All these represent risk areas.
- Module 2 is an introduction to legal aspects of contracts and intellectual property.
- Module 3 covers interactive media team management. This looks at conflict resolution and team management research relevant to interactive project teams.
There is a mixture of PowerPoints, discussion, group tasks, individual tasks and role play during the day.
