Project management training: Interactive Media
In-company introductory course
In-company training is available at your chosen location. Our standard course is one day but we can tailor the modules to your requirements and can run a course in half-days if this makes it easier for you to release staff.
Course Tutors are Elaine England and Andy Finney, authors of Managing Interactive Media.
The cost is £1500 (+VAT) per day plus expenses. The course will be run for between six and fourteen people depending on your needs.
Who is this for?
This foundation course people is suitable for digital interactive professionals who are aspiring to be Team Leaders or Project Managers. It is also suitable for existing Team leaders or Project Managers who have not had formal training.
What the course contains
The course covers three modules and is an introduction to the principles of interactive media project management.
- Module 1 covers the basic principles of project management, including stakeholder management, making the business case, time, cost and quality and change management. All these represent risk areas.
- Module 2 is an introduction to legal aspects of contracts and intellectual property.
- Module 3 covers interactive media team management. This looks at conflict resolution and team management research relevant to interactive project teams.
There is a mixture of PowerPoints, discussion, group tasks, individual tasks and role play during the day.
