e-Learning Design :: Cross-platform JavaScript coding
e-matters is an online course aimed at managers which introduces them to electronic business and e-commerce. It was commissioned by the University for Industry in the UK as a 'taster' module for their learndirect web site.
The site uses JavaScript to handle questions and result tracking during the learner's session, and to communicate with the learndirect learning support environment. The aim was to provide as near as practical, a common user experience for both PC and Mac users.
The basic course functionality was developed using Dreamweaver Coursebuilder and then enhanced to fit the innovative instructional design devised by Elaine England of ATSF.
