Dutch Windmills and Canals
I didn't just take an infrared movie in Amsterdam. There are some shots here from the area around the Westerkerk and Prinsengracht; near to the Anne Frank House and in a 'trendy' part of town called the Jordaan. A sunny day travelling down to Kinderdijk, near to Rotterdam, yielded some great photos of windmills. Kinderdijk is a world heritage area, the windmills still work and people live in most of them. They are there to pump water rather than mill grain and the combination of their stately shapes and the canals makes for a great photo opportunity whatever the light used.
